Terms of Service

Last Updated: December 2025

01. The "No Custody" Clause

Swoop ("The App") is strictly a non-custodial software interface. Swoop does not have access to your private keys, recovery phrases, or funds at any time.

You retain full control of your assets. We cannot recover your funds if you lose your private keys or access to your wallet. You are solely responsible for the safety of your own wallet credentials.

02. The Service Provider

Swoop acts solely as a visual interface (API Wrapper) for Changelly.com ("Third-Party Provider").

  • When you execute a swap, the transaction is processed entirely by Changelly.
  • Swoop does not act as an exchange, broker, or liquidity provider.
  • By using Swoop, you acknowledge that you are also subject to Changelly’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

03. Limitation of Liability

Since Swoop does not hold your funds, we are not liable for:

  • Failed transactions caused by blockchain network congestion or gas fee spikes.
  • Funds frozen, delayed, or rejected by Changelly due to their internal compliance, AML, or KYC checks.
  • Losses due to user error (e.g., pasting the wrong receiving address).
  • Slippage (price changes) that occur during the transaction confirmation time on the blockchain.

04. Fees

Swoop facilitates transactions that may include a service fee or commission. This fee is automatically included in the final exchange rate shown to you before you confirm the transaction. By signing the transaction in your wallet, you agree to this rate.

05. Compliance & Jurisdiction

It is your responsibility to ensure that using crypto-asset swapping services is legal in your jurisdiction. Swoop is not responsible for your tax obligations or legal compliance in your specific region.
